Three candidates will vie for two seats on the Town Council Nov. 8

Three candidates will vie for two seats on the Town Council in the Nov. 8 municipal election.

Seeking seats on the Town Council will be:

Shannon K. Auritt 10 Wainwright Drive
Caitlin R. Jordan 83 Old Ocean House Road
Penelope A. Jordan 21 Wells Road

Seeking seats on the School Board will be:

Kimberly L. Carr 19 Rock Crest Drive
Susana Measelle Hubbs 18 Belfield Road

Caitlin R. Jordan, Penelope A. Jordan and Shannon K. Auritt completed nominating petitions by the 4 p.m. deadline today, Sept. 9, 2016 and will appear on the ballot for Town Council.

School Board candidates Susana Measelle Hubbs and Kimberly L. Carr will run for two seats on the School Board.

Two of the candidates, Susana Measelle Hubbs and Caitlin Jordan, are seeking re-election to their respective seats. Penny Jordan served previously on the Town Council from 2009-2010.

Polls will be open for the municipal election from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Cape Elizabeth High School. Absentee ballots will be available approximately 30 days before the election.

Two candidates nights, sponsored by government students at Cape Elizabeth High School, are scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 13 and Oct. 20 at Town Hall, and will be broadcast on CETV Channel 3.
