Absentee Ballot Information

Maine has "no reason" absentee voting. The law permits absentee ballots to be cast at any election by any voter who properly requests a ballot, up until three business days before the election.

Registration Appeals Board

State law provides for a Registration Appeals Board, M.R.S. Title 21-A ยง103. In the event a person is aggrieved by the decision of the registrar of voters, that person may appeal to the board.
