Questions?
Town Clerk Debra Lane, 207-799-7665.

Voters enrolled in the Democratic and Republican parties will be selecting primary candidates for U.S. senator and representative to Congress, and for state Legislature. Democrats will choose a candidate for register of probate, and will rank choices in three-way races for state senator and U.S. senator.

All voters – whether enrolled in a political party or not – are eligible to vote on a state bond-issue referendum; and, to validate the $28.5 million school budget approved by the Town Council for fiscal 2021. [news article]

All election activity, including voter registration and return of absentee ballots, will take place at the polls on Election Day. The town clerk's office and tax office (vehicle registrations) at Town Hall will be closed so staff may assist at the polls.

The election was originally scheduled for June 9, but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. [Governor's Executive Order]
