Town seeks proposals for solar-power generating project

The town of Cape Elizabeth is seeking proposals from qualified, interested parties to serve as a contractor to design, procure, install, test, commission, operate and finance a utility scale solar photovoltaic power generating project located at the town's capped landfill site and transfer station. The town proposes to purchase 100 percent of the power generated by the project, subject to a cap based on town usage.

A pre-bid conference and site tour will be held Feb. 24, 2020. Proposals are due 3 p.m. Friday, March 13. Bids must be emailed by the deadline to pschwarz@capeelizabethschools.org with hardcopy to follow.
