Polls open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 for referendum, municipal election

The 2019 state referendum and municipal election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5 in the Cape Elizabeth High School gym. The municipal ballot includes an election for Portland Water District trustee. [Sample ballots]

The Town tax office and Town Clerk's office will be closed Nov. 5 so that staff may assist at the polls

Town offices closed

Offices on the first floor of Town Hall (Town Clerk and Tax Office) will be closed on Election Day so that staff may assist at the polls.

Voter registration

Residents may register to vote at the polls on Election Day. Proof of residency and proof of identity is required. All election activity will take place at the polls on Election Day.
