Bottle Shed proceeds awarded to 25 organizations benefitting Cape youth

A total of $16,150 was awarded to Cape Elizabeth organizations benefitting town youth by the Bottle Shed Committee this fall.

The three-member committee met on Oct. 26, 2018 to distribute proceeds collected from returnable bottles left at the Recycling Center. Distributions were awarded to 25 applicants for 2019:

Deadline for groups to apply for next year's distribution is Friday, Oct. 18, 2019. Applications will be available prior to the deadline. The committee is scheduled to meet Oct. 25 to decide the allocation.
