Engineering services sought for portions of town center sidewalk

The Town of Cape Elizabeth is soliciting proposals for engineering services for segments of the Town Center sidewalk, and potential additional town center sidewalks. (segments 7 and 8, reference Project WIN 024103.00 Federal Highway Administration funding).

Proposals are due in the Town Hall by 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019.

The general project description is design of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, separated from Route 77 by an esplanade of approximately 5 feet in width, which shall include street trees and pedestrian lighting to match existing, and include related stormwater infrastructure. The successful bidder may be asked to provide additional engineering services as funding becomes available for other sidewalk segments.
