Superintendent invites community to share thoughts, dreams for Cape schools

School Superintendent Donna Wolfrom is inviting members of the Cape Elizabeth community to share their thoughts and dreams for Cape schools as she begins her tenure.

In a letter to the community dated July 30, 2018, Wolfrom invited residents to schedule a time for an informal conversation:

Dear Cape Elizabeth Community Members:

After much anticipation throughout the long spring, I am so excited to finally be at work in Cape Elizabeth. It seems that the summer heat and I arrived at the same time! During the month of July, I have been meeting with School Board members and administrators in the district. I have also extended the invitation to staff members as I have been eager to meet the many people who make the Cape Elizabeth Schools such excellent places of learning. I have had many wonderful conversations and it has been so exciting to hear about the wonderful things that are going on in our schools.

As a member of the Cape Elizabeth community, you play an integral role in providing this opportunity for our students. I would love to meet with you to gather your thoughts and dreams about our schools. This would be a very informal meeting, and I have some questions to guide our conversation. I consider these conversations to be very important as they will provide me with valuable information as I proceed with my work in the district. Erin Tosi is the new Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and the Director of Teaching and Learning. Please contact Erin at 799-2217 (email: to schedule a time for us to meet. I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know the members of the Cape Elizabeth community.
