Free Centennial Barbershop Quartet Concert set for Aug. 22

The renowned Downeasters Chorus & Quartets will perform a free barbershop harmony concert at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, as one of four Fort Williams Centennial summer bandstand concerts.

The barbershop concert is sponsored by Hanover Insurance through a donation they made to the Centennial Celebration.

The remaining concert (at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Williams) will be: Deemed Worthy (dance music through the decades) on Sunday, Aug. 29.

All concerts are free of charge.

Final Centennial Concert set for Aug. 29

"Deemed Worthy," a local dance band, will perform a free concert at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, as the final of four Fort Williams Centennial summer bandstand concerts.

The concert is sponsored by Cunningham Security Systems through a donation they made to the Centennial Celebration.

The concert is free of charge.
