Cape Elizabeth's Town Council has appointed a committee of 12 to design and organize the Celebration. The objectives are to:

  • Commemorate the commissioning of Fort Williams 100 years ago;
  • Raise awareness of The Fort as a significant part of Cape Elizabeth's history;
  • Foster community pride thorough involvement in planning as well as attending Centennial activities;
  • Provide a springboard for the park's future through celebrating its past and enjoying it in the present.

The Committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Cafeteria.
