Cape Elizabeth's overnight winter parking ban will begin Dec. 1. No vehicle shall be left on the roadways from 1 a.m to 5 a.m. from Dec. 1-April 1.

Cape Elizabeth Public Safety and Public Works may call for daytime parking bans during major snowfalls this coming winter, as they did last winter. "It facilitates our snow plowing operations a great deal," said Public Works Director Robert Malley. "It allows us to push the snow back to keep drainage and travel lanes clear," he said.
