First Comprehensive Plan public
forum Dec. 8
Did you get a call for on the Comprehensive Plan Survey? You can still make
comments on the future of Cape Elizabeth by attending the first public forum
held by the Comprehensive Plan Committee on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00
p.m. in the Town Hall.
The Comprehensive Plan Committee will hold 2-3 public forums during the
development of the plan. This is your first opportunity to meet with the
Comprehensive Plan Committee and talk about your vision for the future of
Cape Elizabeth. The forum will begin with the long awaited release of the
results of the telephone survey commissioned by the committee.
(see related story) The committee looks
forward to supplementing the survey responses with comments received at the
public forum.
In preparation for the forum, the committee will be drafting a community
vision statement that the public will be able to critique. Copies of the
survey questions and the draft vision statement will be posted on the Town
Web site, http://www.capeelizabeth.com/comp_plan,
prior to the forum. Please contact the Town Planner Maureen O'Meara, 799-0115,
email ceplan@maine.rr.com, if you
have any questions.
