Applications being accepted for June 10 absentee
ballots
Applications are now being accepted for absentee ballots for the June 10,
2008 primary and referendum election.
School budget validation ballots, also scheduled for the June 10 election,
will be available when the ballot question has been determined.
Under Maine law, any registered voter may vote absentee. Absentee ballot
applications are available from the Town Clerk's Office, 320 Ocean House
Road, 767-7473; and are available for
download on this Web site. The
downloaded form may be filled out online and printed for signature.
Applications should be mailed to the Town Clerk's Office for processing.

Absentee ballots will be available 30 days before the election. As in past
years, voters may vote absentee at the Town Hall prior to Election Day. Absentee
voting will not be available at Town Hall on Election Day, however absentee
ballots will be available that day for those who are not able to come to
the polls.
Election Day polling will take place from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June
10, 2008 at Cape Elizabeth High School.
