Scavenger hunt, community tree lighting to kick off Cape holiday season Dec. 9
The Cape Business Alliance will host its first "Christmas on the Cape" from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. The event culminates in a community tree lighting at 7:15 at Key Bank, located in the Town Center.
Families of all ages are invited to participate in this kick-off to the holiday season.
Parking will be available at each of the local businesses and Town Hall.
Follow the scavenger hunt
Participants may start at any of the participating Cape Elizabeth businesses and pick up a children's scavenger hunt entry form. Each participating business will offer a fun family activity. While at each business, be sure to have your child’s scavenger hunt form stamped. Completed scavenger hunt forms will be entered into a raffle at the end of the night and can be turned in at the Community Tree Lighting located at Key Bank at 7:15 p.m.
"Christmas on the Cape" coincides with Cape Elizabeth's Second-Friday Art Walk. Artwork by Cape Elizabeth students will be on display at local businesses.
