Career Fair presenters recommend students follow their passions
Cape Elizabeth Middle School sponsored its 14th annual Career Exploration Fair for seventh- and eighth-graders on Feb. 3, 2011, inviting 35 community members to come and speak about their chosen fields. They represented the gamut of careers ranging from farming to fashion design.

"Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life," was a common theme, said Gail Schmader, the schools' director of volunteer services. Schmader and the Middle School guidance department worked to coordinate the annual event, part of the career exploration and educational planning unit based on the Maine State Learning Results.
