Town Council appoints new, returning members to citizen boards and commissions

Cape Elizabeth's citizen boards and commissions will welcome new members when business resumes after the first of next year.

The Town Council on Dec. 12, 2011 approved a slate of new and reappointments to various Town boards and commissions. Of the 21 appointments approved, 11 are reappointments, and 10 are new. The appointees were nominated by the council's appointments subcommittee.

In a related matter, the School Board approved one new appointment and one reappointment to the Community Services Advisory Commission on Dec. 13, 2011. The commission is composed of members appointed by both the Town Council and the School Board.
