Applications available for 43rd annual Engine One Labor Day Art Show

The 43rd Annual Cape Elizabeth Fire Department Engine One Labor Day Art Show will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Fort Williams Park. Rain date is Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6.

Artists who exhibited in the 2009 show are given an opportunity for early registration. Exhibitors who wish to reserve their site from last year will have first priority.  To qualify, these requests must be postmarked by April 5th, 2010.

The popular art exhibit annually attracts more than 100 of New England's top artists, including many from Cape Elizabeth.

Returning this year is the section dedicated to crafts. Craft displays will be limited to a designated area of the field. Artists must indicate whether their display will include crafts on their registration form.

Registration again this year is a non-refundable $45 for the 2010 show. The fee is the same as last year's.

Engine One Company is also interested in having local non-profit groups provide food booths at the show.
