Swift-Kayatta nominated to head 2010 Town Council; Lennon gets nod as finance committee chair

Town Councilor Anne E. Swift-Kayatta was nominated by the council to serve as chairman for 2010.

Swift-Kayatta headed the finance committee this year, and succeeds outgoing Councilor Jim Rowe as chairman. She was nominated at the council's annual caucus on Nov. 9, 2009.

The caucus also nominated Sara Lennon to head the finance committee, a committee of the whole council. David Sherman was nominated to head the ordinance committee, and Penny Jordan was given the nod as chairman of the appointments committee

The caucus results will be formally voted upon at the Dec. 14, 2009 town council meeting.
