Absentee voting for Nov. 3 municipal, referendum election underway

Election Day is Nov. 3, 2009. Polling in Cape Elizabeth will take place at the High School from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. All election related activities on Nov. 3, including voter registration, return of absentee ballots etc. will be handled at the High School on Election Day.

Absentee voting

Absentee voting for the Nov. 3 election is underway at Town Hall and will be available there during regular business hours until 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2.

Requests for absentee ballots may be made:

• By downloading, filling out, and delivering or mailing an application form (Adobe's Acrobat Reader is required )
• or, by calling or visiting the town clerk's office at 320 Ocean House Road, 207-799-7665.

An Act to Decrease the Automobile Excise Tax and Promote Energy. “Do you want to cut the rate of the municipal excise tax by an average of 55% on motor vehicles less than six years old and exempt hybrid and other alternative-energy and highly fuel-efficient motor vehicles from sales tax and three years of excise tax?”
