Portland Head Light to participate in 'Open Lighthouse Day' Sept. 12

The Museum at Portland Head Light is participating in the state Office of Tourism's 'Open Lighthouse Day' on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009.

The museum in the former keepers' quarters at Portland Head Light will be open and free to all.

The tower has very limited capacity. Children under 10 will not be admitted to the tower. Visitors to the tower must be able to climb the stairs unassisted.
