Lottery for Community Services youth registration times starts Aug. 31

Registration for Community Services youth and after-school enrichment programs will be held the evening of Sept. 9, 2009.

Anyone wishing to register a child for a youth or after-school enrichment program may contact Community Services for a registration time beginning Monday, Aug. 31, 2009.

Times are assigned by lottery, and may be obtained Aug. 31-Sept. 8 by calling 799-2868, by visiting the Community Center, 343 Ocean House Road during regular hours, or emailing cservices@cape.k12.me.us

Community Services will also begin accepting registration for its fall 2009 adult classes on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Community Center. Adult-class registration will be accepted in person or by mail, but priority processing is given to in-person registrations. Residents from other towns may signup for adult classes beginning Sept. 8.

A second chance to register for youth and/or after school programs at the Community Center begins Monday, Sept. 14. No mail-in registration will be accepted for after-school enrichment classes, but will be accepted for other youth programs. Out-of-town residents may register for youth programs beginning Sept. 16.

Separate checks for each class are required for mail-in registrations, only one check is necessary when registering for multiple classes in person.

Office hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday; and, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays.
