Town offices, the Thomas Memorial Library and Cape Elizabeth schools will be closed Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, in observance of Columbus Day.

The transfer station and recycling center will be open regular Monday hours, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The Fitness Center and Donald L. Richards Pool will have adjusted hours.

The Town Council meeting normally scheduled for the second Monday of the month will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14.
