42nd annual Engine One Labor Day Art Show to include craft area

The 42nd Annual Cape Elizabeth Fire Department Engine One Labor Day Art Show will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Fort Williams Park. Rain date is Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.

The popular art exhibit annually attracts more than 100 of New England's top artists, including many from Cape Elizabeth.

New this year is the addition of a crafts section, to be limited to a designated area of the field. Artists must indicate whether their display will include crafts on their registration form.

Also new is a reduced registration fee, in light of the current economy. Registration is $45 for the 2009 show; $50 for forms submitted after July 1, 2009. Last year's fee was $50, and $60 for late registrations..
