Lynch, McKenney re-elected, Kennealy to join School
Board
Town Council incumbents Mary Ann Lynch and Paul McKenney were re-elected
to the council in Tuesday's municipal election, and newcomer Jack Kennealy
was elected to a three-year term on the School Board.
School Board incumbent Rebecca Millett was also re-elected to one of two
three-year terms open on the board. Trish Brigham, a sitting School Board
member, ran unopposed for a two-year term left open by the resignation of
Kevin Sweeney.
In other state and county referendum news, Cape Elizabeth voters said they
did not support a racino in Washington County, and that they did not favor
an increase in the number of county commissioners from three to seven.
An even 2,500 votes were cast, for a total of 32 percent.
