Equipment Operator - Highway Division
The Cape Elizabeth Public Works Department has an immediate opening for an
Equipment Operator in the Highway Division. Starting salary is $647.45 per
week. Position requires a valid State of Maine CDL Class "B" Operator's License,
with the ability to obtain an "A" license within one year.
This position requires experience in the operation of all types of equipment,
including, but not limited to, front-end loaders, 35,000 GVWR trucks and
grounds maintenance equipment. Knowledge of summer and winter road maintenance
practices is also required. Successful applicant participates in all snow
plowing and on-call activities during the winter season. The ability to perform
a variety of manual tasks in a variety of weather conditions, along with
the stamina to work long hours is required. Weekend and Holiday work may
be required.
The Equipment Operator performs duties under the direct supervision of the
Public Works Supervisor and/or the Lead Equipment Operator.

POLICE OFFICER
The Town of Cape Elizabeth is accepting applications for the position of
