Site Walks & Trail Work
The Cape Elizabeth Conservation Commission will be meeting at Great Pond to build boat storage racks on Saturday, March 13th and Saturday, March 20th, beginning at 9:00 a.m., weather permitting. The work event will be canceled if there is steady rain.
The boat racks will be built on-site at the head of the trail leading to the Great Pond boat launch area, which is most easily accessed from the end of Fenway Road. Parking is available on both sides of Fenway Rd, but not in the cul-de-sac. Volunteers with carpentry skills are especially needed, although anyone willing to carry wood to the build site would be appreciated during the second Saturday.
